OG Kush Seeds produce Cannabis that has quite a distinct name as well as its flavor. It is among the favourites in the Kush family, given its sour lemony flavor and its over 18% THC content. You’ll appreciate its goodness once you roll a joint and take a couple of puffs. The strain has an instant kick which sends you pleasantly pondering on your couch for hours. Dude, you’d probably come up with hundreds of meanings for the acronym OG during your initial trip with this baby.

The OG in OG Kush Seeds stands for ocean grown. You don’t really need to be close to a large body of water to grow the herb. Just give it some tending and a decent dose of artificial light. Some even claim that the strain is pretty forgiving, making it a popular choice among cannabis growers. OG Kush has a flock of dense buds, covered in THC crystals, which break off easily come harvesting season.

OG Kush Seeds are one of the most popular strains in Southern California. It is a hit among rap stars, rock stars, celebrities, and common folk who live by the herb. As a resident smoker, you wouldn’t want to miss out on all the action involving this So Cal delight. Grab some seeds and tap the chronic scenester in you.

The “Original Gangster” OG Kush Seeds comes from the San Fernando Valley in Los Angeles and is considered to be the strain that put Southern California buds on par with the flowers coming from up North. Developed over three generations and years of stabilizing as well as developing the perfect fertilizer / food for this parrticular strain, resulted in a phenomenal kush, said to be the strongest indica today.

The OG Kush was formally a clone only strain. She stretches in veg but seems to fill herself out in flower. She has smaller nugs that you can get a good yield from if you supercrop her while she’s growing. OG Kush Seeds prefers to be grown indoors in a hydroponic setup.

OG Kush Seeds , when properly grown, has the highest THC content of all kushes and is sometimes so strong, it “makes your teeth hurt” after you smoke a bowl. When smoked, it feels like a wake-up shot to the head, not unlike an espresso, which makes this smoke perfect as a pick-me-up during a long day of physical labor. Having said this, it is not recommended to smoke OG Kush before bed, as it is known to speed up the heart rate and keep the user awake.

There is also another well known OG Kush seeds lineage that was developed in Northern California, and this story went something like this.. A guy – we’ll call him KushDawg for the sake of this story – living somewhere on the Northern California Pacific Coast was growing the original cut from San Fernando Valley, the birthplace of most herb carrying the “OG” label. One evening, KushDawg was hanging out at a local bar when another chap also sitting at the bar offered him a bowl of some very special weed. Intrigued, KushDawg accepted the offer. Once the chap opened the bag and the dank, pungent OG aroma lifted into the air, KushDawg knew immediately, unbeknownst to the chap, that this was in fact his own herb. As they toked the glorious herb, the chap rendered his own opinion as to the origin of the herb, saying that it was so great because it was “Mountain Grown.” KushDawg corrected the chap, “Naw man, this stuff is ‘Ocean Grown,’” meaning that the herb was actually grown indoors on the Pacific Coast.

OG Kush seeds refers to a subset of strains of cannabis indica. The origins of Kush cannabis are from landrace plants mainly in Afghanistan, Northern Pakistan and North-Western India with the name coming from the Hindu Kush mountain range. “Hindu Kush” strains of cannabis were brought to the United States in the mid-to-late 1970s and continue to be available there to the present day.

OG Kush Seeds strains were among those cultivated by the British firm GW Pharmaceuticals for its legally licensed commercial trial of medicinal cannabis.
