The outdoors vs. the indoors: where to grow your cannabis seeds? | Skunk Seeds Finder

Growing Weed Indoor or Outdoor?

Cannabis or marijuana has been a controversy for many centuries. This plant can be used for many purposes, but it is best known for its use as a recreational drug. The terms cannabis or marijuana generally refer to the dried flowers and subtending leaves and stems of the female cannabis plant. Cannabis seeds are sold on the internet on Dutch websites, since Holland is the only country that has legalized the use of this plant. The question is, where it is best to cultivate the seeds, once you bought them? Some say the indoors are best, but more are in favor of the outdoors.

How To Grow Autoflowering Seeds

But why grow your cannabis seeds outdoors? We all know the difference between artificial and natural. It’s the same with marijuana. You could provide all the things the plant needs in the closet and achieve highest potency, but the smoke and sensations still wouldn’t be as good as naturally grown plant. It’s all about growing in real soil, under the real sun getting the real rain water and wind. And it all comes out in smoke. The method of planting mostly used in the outdoors is the seed intensive method. However, this method should only be used if you have an abundance of seeds. The method requires planting many seeds in a small area. Its strength is that it can limit risk. What you have to do is to plant the seeds about one half inch deep, unless the soil contains high amounts of clay, then only plant seeds one-quarter inch in the soil. If you setup small sites, make three rows with a seed every one and a half inches. Unfortunately, many growers, especially beginners, do not posses this many good seeds for such a planting. There will be some crowding and this is one of the drawbacks of using many seeds in a small area. Remember you must return to the site to cut out the male plants toward the end of summer. Once the males are removed from the site, the females get more light and aren’t as crowded. This strategy tends to produce smaller plants because of crowding, but at the same time it helps ensure a harvest every season. If you grow for hobby, sport, or experimental purposes, then one planting site is enough. Remember that you need authorization for seeding, since plantation of cannabis is illegal.

Growing Weed Indoor or Outdoor?

To sum this up, planting the cannabis seeds in the outdoors is preferred to the indoors, just because the plants grows naturally and therefore it will be richer in its active substance, THC. According to the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime the amount of THC present in a cannabis sample is generally used as a measure of cannabis potency. But too high amounts of THC can be dangerous. You should not plant marijuana if you don’t have an authorization. This crime is called drug dealing and although it is a profitable business, the risks are high and the punishment is very harsh.
